Some of our graphics are purchased from Etsy, others are “stock” images, and we also create our own in-house designs. The fun is in mixing and matching of the designs as well as colors. We use our CNC to mill the table according to the design and attempt to develop color schemas that appeal to our customers. We also provide commissioned pieces for those who need a specific color schema or design . If you would like to learn more just press the contact us button to get the conversation started.

The gecko table was our first design of what we call our “fire edge” tables. We plan to introduce alternative rings with our popular designs in the near future.

We start with a design and use our CNC to mill the board to a level of accuracy that can only be achieved with a computerized mill. Having said that using a CNC is a learning process so there are errors we just hope we can hide them well enough for you to not notice.

Our process is simple

  • We source our source materials from U.S. based companies.
  • We mill our coffee table tops with our CNC according to the design
  • We seal and prep the board for a “single” pour.
  • We use Crystal Clear, UV Resistant, Food Safe Epoxy Resin
  • Our colors are Mica powders that are used in lip gloss and soaps.
  • We re-plane the work to reveal the piece of art.
  • All pieces are re-sanded and sealed with resin or tung oil upon request.

For a CNC (Computer Numerical Control) project, you’ll need precise digital files to guide the machining process. Typically, the choice between an SVG or a 3D STL file depends on the type of work you’re planning:

STL (Stereolithography): Best for 3D projects like carving or sculpting. This format contains detailed 3D geometry, allowing the CNC machine to create complex shapes and depths.

SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics): Ideal for 2D designs such as engraving, cutting, or laser work. It contains vector paths that can be easily scaled without losing quality, making it perfect for flat designs or outlines.
